Apple Offers VoiceOver Getting Started for Leopard Podcast

10 September, 2008 @ 1:28 pm by Lioncourt

In addition to the "VoiceOver Getting Started for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger Podcast", Apple has now released "VoiceOver Getting Started for Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard Podcast". This podcast is available in the iTunes Store and is designed to introduce the use of VoiceOver to new users, though seasoned veterans may learn a thing or two as well.

Alternatively, you can download the individual files for the guide from Apple’s new Accessibility Site.

Like all podcasts, the guide is available free of charge.

  1. Chris articulated:

This is great news. Since it’s available from the ITunes store I would imagine there is a cost associated with it. How much does it cost?

  2. Lioncourt reflected:

    Re: Chris
No, it’s free, just like any other podcast.

  3. Chris replied:

I just listened to the Table of Contents for the manual and I noticed that there seems to be no coverage of how to attach files to an E-mail message. I haven’t found anything about this in the Voice-over help either.

  4. Jake stated:

Maybe I’m being dense, but why would attaching files to mail messages be covered in the Voiceover getting started guide? That isn’t strictly related to Voiceover, but rather that is a function of the Mail application. BTW, it’s command-shift-a to attach a file.
