Today, Apple released the public beta of Safari 4, the latest incarnation of their popular web browser for Mac and Windows. Our initial testing shows that VoiceOver users will notice a number of improvements to accessibility in this version, snappier building of the Item Chooser menu, smoother use of Groups mode, and access to content not previously available.

One drawback is that, in this beta, form buttons that are labeled with an image instead of text are not announced properly. This has been a problem in latter versions of WebKit for a while now.
